Cherry Blossoms in Toronto

Cherry blossom trees in Toronto were in full bloom over the weekend attracting thousands of visitors to the city parks.
Toronto’s High Park was the centre of attraction and had thousands coming to enjoy the sight that symbolized the arrival of spring. It was 60 years ago in 1959, the Japanese ambassador to Canada gifted 2000 cherry trees to Toronto and they still continue to delight many who flock to the city to view this once a year spectacle.
