Auld Kirk National Historic Site

The Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, Her Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell visited the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury on April 16th. To mark her visit, the town decided to gift her a picture I took of Auld Kirk. I was invited for the reception held in the Bradford Public Library. The other invitees were young members of the agricultural community, senior town staff, members of the Bradford West Gwillimbury Local History Association and Bradford West Gwillimbury Heritage Committee
Upon the invitation of the Mayor and the Local History Association, the Lieutenant Governor visited the Auld Kirk National Historic site, which is a church built by the early Scottish settlers in the region.
